A video is being shared on social media (here, here, here) claiming that a cow will save the life of a child standing on railroad tracks. Let’s test the claims made in the post.

Claim: A video of animals rescuing children in danger.

fact: These videos were originally shared by Instagram profiles that post AI-generated content. According to fact-checking tools and video analysis, they are created by AI and are not real. So the claim in these posts is: error.

To verify the viral video, I performed a reverse image search using the keyframes of the viral video, but I couldn’t find any reliable sources related to it. However, a closer look reveals some contradictions. The name of the destination is not displayed on the train’s yellow sign. AI-generated videos often have blurry or unclear text. Additionally, although this train appears to only have three cars, in reality, even the shortest trains usually have at least 12 cars.

When we tested the video using the Hive moderation tool, we confirmed that the viral clip was generated by AI.

Additionally, an archived video of a monkey saving a child hanging from a building has also been shared on social media. This video has also been confirmed to be generated by AI.

These videos were first shared on Instagram by an account named @mojilo_vandro. The account’s profile clearly states that all videos posted are fictional and created using AI.

In summary, the videos being shared of animals rescuing children in danger are not real, they are AI-generated.
