Israel Herrera, firmware architect and embedded systems engineer at Honeywell Fire, commented: “We recognize that ST has made innovative advances in the field of edge computing with their sensors. MEMS Studio included in the ST Edge AI Suite has proven to be an excellent software development tool that helps us quickly perform tests with multiple MEMS sensor modules from ST. The code generation feature allows us to easily create proofs of concept. MEMS Studio is also very useful for testing various independent machine learning and data analytics algorithms.”

Tatsuhiko Watanabe, CEO and founder of SOXAI, which uses ST's edge AI sensor, said: “During the development of SOXAI RING 1, ST introduced the world's first sensor with edge AI, and we quickly adopted it to improve our product's performance. Thanks to the machine learning core software tools included in the ST Edge AI Suite, we were able to quickly integrate this new technology, allowing developers to maximize the sensor's potential with minimal effort. Compared to the first generation, the new SOXAI RING 1's battery life has been extended to more than 10 hours, revolutionizing the world of wearable technology.”

Andrea Bozzoli, CEO of HPE Group, added: “HPE is at the forefront of the transformation in the automotive sector through our collaboration with STMicroelectronics and its Stellar MCUs and Stellar Studio software, part of the ST Edge AI Suite. Our Prometeo Joint Innovation Lab efforts aim to leverage AI to enhance predictive maintenance and control systems, and deliver proofs of concept for next-generation vehicle powertrains. This synergy will not only improve the performance of electric vehicles, but also enhance the digital cockpit experience, setting new standards for smart and sustainable mobility.”
