Hyderabad: YouTube has introduced a suite of generation AI features for short pants creators It's made on YouTube event. The platform features a custom version of VEO 3 (Google's Text-to-Video Generation AI Model), an AI-edited speech Tucson Glimix tool powered by Lyria 2. With the help of these tools, short pants creators can enhance their more playful creations on YouTube.
In particular, YouTube has confirmed that all these new AI features have a SynthID watermark and content label to identify the video that AI has been generated.
VEO 3 Fast
YouTube has worked with Google DeepMind to create a custom version of VEO 3, Veo 3 Fast, for the platform. Designed exclusively for YouTube Shorts Creators to work for free. The VEO 3 has a low latency video output of 480 pixels and includes sound. YouTube claims that this is the first time an AI-generated video can contain sound. With the quick help of VEO 3, the users are:
- Added motion: They can bring the still image to life by applying movements from another video, such as “fun dance or wild sports movements.” Additionally, custom AI tools can transfer movements from one subject to another.
- Stylies Video: Users can add new styles such as pop art and origami by simply tapping on the footage to make the video look different.
- Add an object: Users can add objects such as letters, props, or effects using simple textual descriptions.
YouTube will begin experimenting with all these new features over the coming months with shorts starting in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. To use this new AI video generation tool, users will need to tap the “Create” button and select the sparkle icon in the top right corner to find the latest GEN AI creation tool, including VEO 3.
The VEO 3 Fast Tool was originally deployed in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with plans to expand the tool to other countries.
Edit with AI
With the help of editing using AI, users can convert raw camera roll footage into engaging shorts videos by finding and placing the best videos relevant to the moment. For example, if you are creating videos related to Baking cookies, editing AI features will look for all videos where the user is burning cookies.
This new AI feature also allows users to add music, migrations and narration in English or Hindi. Editing AI features is currently being experimented with YouTube shorts and YouTube Create apps, and will expand in select markets in the coming weeks.
Audio to Sound Remix Tool
YouTube has also introduced a feature called Speech-to-Song. This allows users to turn any dialogue into a music soundtrack. This AI feature features Google Deepmind's Lyria 2 AI model, allowing you to change any line into a danceable or fun track.
