And to help you continue your creative pursuits, we're extending unlimited generations on Firefly's video models and all image models (both Firefly and partner models) until January 15 for all users with Firefly Pro, Firefly Premium, 7,000 Credits, or 50,000 Credits plans. That means you're free to continue creating with Firefly's commercially safe image and video models and an ever-expanding lineup of partner models, including the new Google Nano Banana Pro.
AI video precision editing and camera motion control
I understand that it's frustrating. Generate a coffee shop clip. largely Perfect, but there are random cups on the table. Previously, you would have to regenerate the entire clip, losing the good parts in the process and wasting time recreating them.
new Edit prompt control In the case of video, you can leave the good parts and surgically remove the bad parts. You can now generate videos with Firefly and use text editing to adjust accuracy. Aleph on the runway Create a model using specific instructions such as:
- “Please remove the person on the left side of the frame.”
- “Replace the background with a clean studio backdrop.”
- “Change the sky to cloudy and reduce the contrast.”
- “Please zoom in a little on the main subject.”
Firefly makes these changes directly to existing clips. No longer are you at the mercy of the next random generation. You are in charge of the scene. Plus, you can add sound effects and music tracks for further polish, and further editing within the Firefly video editor or Premiere desktop. All of this is built to give creators complete control from idea to execution.
Firefly gives you more control over how the camera moves within your scene. With Firefly Video Model, you can now upload a starting frame image and a reference video showing the camera movement you want to recreate. Achieve cinematic camera movement that stays exactly where you need it.
Editing prompts and camera motion references, when used together, save you hours of trial and error, giving you more ways to save your “great take” and apply your creative style to every shot.
Generative AI is a tool that not only generates content, but also adapts, integrates, and makes it actionable across workflows. Topaz Astra, now available on Firefly Boards, lets you push footage to 1080p or 4K. Use it to enhance low-resolution clips and make them crisp and suitable for your YouTube feed. Or try restoring old or low-quality footage to enhance clarity and detail. Whether it's archived branded material or personal clips, you can bring important moments to life with new edits and formats. While your videos are being upscaled on your board, you can perform other tasks at the same time, or even queue up more videos on your board to upscale, keeping your creative flow flowing.
We also continue to offer a selection of industry-leading imaging models. You can now also access Flux.2is Black Forest Labs' latest image model that can generate and edit images with photorealistic details, provides advanced text rendering, and supports up to four reference images. FLUX.2 will be available in Firefly's Text to Image module, Prompt to Edit, Firefly Boards, Generative Fill in Photoshop desktop, and in January on Adobe Express.
Firefly Video Editor (Beta): A creative assembly space for generative storytelling

Firefly Video Editor lets you create complete videos in your browser, combining generated clips, music tracks, and visuals with your own footage and formatting them into lightweight multitrack timelines.

- Edit on timeline When you want precise control over pacing, cuts, and layers.
- Edit by text When working with speaker or interview content, you can trim or rearrange segments by simply editing the text within the transcript.
