Google appeared to have blocked certain AI search results for Trump's mental vision questions, but for former President Joe Biden we provide an AI summary. Messages no longer appear when Economic Times enters the same search. Enter the exact same query, but for Biden, Google's AI overview responds with a summary. Joe Biden was also faced with questions about his mental vision during his tenure.
When you switch to AI mode, Google will not provide an overview of the generated information. Instead, it displays the results of the same top web page of the query. There is no AI summary either when searching for Trump to show signs of Alzheimer's disease.

Does Trump have dementia?
“Evaluating whether Joe Biden shows signs of dementia is a complex issue with a variety of perspectives and different conclusions,” says Google's AI mode. It also lists examples of why Biden experiences cognitive decline or apparent signs of dementia.
If you type “Biden shows signs of Alzheimer's,” you will enter AI mode, with the answer being “a complex question with no definitive answer,” and saying “it remains elusive without a formal medical diagnosis.”
When contacted for comment, a Google spokesperson said “No responses to all queries are displayed” in the Independent AI overview and AI mode.

Google blocked in AI overview search
“Our system automatically determines where AI responses are useful and is not always 100% consistent,” the spokesman said. “As with all queries, it doesn't provide an overview of AI in AI mode. Some topics (such as current events) may display a list of links as a response.”
The change in Trump's AI search mode for mental health comes after Google CEO Sundar Pichai met President Trump at the White House in September. During the meeting, he thanked Trump for his leadership and praised his administration for the “AI Action Plan” launched in July.
“English: “The AI moment is one of the most transformative moments that we've seen or seen in our lifetime, so make sure the US is on the forefront. And I think your administration has invested a lot,” Pichai said at dinner on September 4th.

According to Verge, Google could be “concerned about the president's response” to questions about alleged cognitive decline. Meanwhile, YouTube, a Google-owned platform, agreed to pay $24.5 million on January 6, 2021 to resolve a lawsuit filed by Trump after his account was suspended following the attack on the Capitol.
For years, Trump has dismissed scrutiny about his mental vision, claiming that he is a “stable genius” and boasts about the aking of simple cognitive tests. In June, he claimed that Biden had “suffered from severe cognitive decline” for many years.
Trump, who is set to surpass Biden as the oldest seating president in US history, has not faced the same level of public scrutiny regarding his cognitive abilities despite many indications.
The president rejected the proposal that he was in mental decline and frequently boasted about the tests used to pass the Montreal cognitive rating, detect early signs of cognitive impairment or dementia. This test includes tasks such as drawing a clock to display a specific time and identify animals.
