The survey was conducted through AmeriSpeak®, a nationally representative survey panel of U.S. households created and administered by NORC at the University of Chicago. Rather than relying on self-selected or convenience samples, AmeriSpeak uses probability-based sampling methods that randomly select households with known and targeted probabilities. This survey is designed to provide scientifically rigorous and representative insights into the experiences and opinions of U.S. parents and caregivers of children ages 5 to 18. Data was collected in December 2025 using both an online survey and telephone interviews. The final sample included 1,025 parents and caregivers. Survey weights were applied to match the sample to U.S. Census Bureau Current Population Survey demographic benchmarks, including gender, age, education, race/ethnicity, and region. The results of this study are presented as weighted descriptive statistics generated based on these probability weights.
