Newschecker notices that Netanyahu's lip movements are not in perfect sync with his speech, but they also appear to be unnatural, indicating that the video may be AI-controlled. We also did not come across any official news reports or video statements from Netanyahu, in which Israel and India pledge to stand up against Iran and Pakistan.
The origin of virus videos
Further searches led to this 01:20-minute statement by Netanyahu uploaded to the Israelip YouTube channel on June 22, 2025, where he praised President Donald Trump's decision to attack Iran's nuclear facilities and emphasized peace through the strength of regional prosperity. A similar news report on Netanyahu's statement on June 22, 2025 can be found here and here.
A comparison of the screen grab and statement (left) in the viral video (right) with Netanyahu's outfit and background further suggests that it is the same clip that was digitally modified. In the statement, the Israeli Prime Minister never mentioned India, Pakistan or China.
Next, I've run videos in the past with Hive Moderation, an AI-Content detection tool. The video states that there is an 84.7% chance that the video will contain 'AI' content or Deepfaki' content. We ran audio beyond the Deepfake Detector, which we found to be “fake.”
Newschecker went through Deepfake-o-Meter to run the video. There, the main classifier concluded with a 99.9% chance that the video was “AI generated.”

Israel and Iran agreed to a ceasefire mediated by the US on June 24, 2025.
