Nowadays, knowing how to find AI-generated content has actually become more tricky. And the result is that almost everything can be accused of being artificially generated. This has probably never been better demonstrated than a ridiculous response to Lady Gaga's new music video.
Gaga has dropped the music video for The Dead Dance, the song that debuted on Netflix's Wednesday season 2. Directed by Tim Burton, it's an appropriately nightmare black and white dissonance of monsters and puppets. However, some have already argued that some of them are made using AI.

One of the music video's animators responded to a comment asking if the doll was made of AI and said, “nooooo. Of course, what's moving has been animated in VFX studio.”

And there's the fact that production company The Roots shares the entire production credits on Instagram (below), featuring a huge list of artists and designers. In other words, it seems safe to say that this is touched by a human hand.
If anything, the accusations show that AI Paranoia is going too far. It appears that intentionally or otherwise there is no room for unpolished, incomplete effects. Those who are remotely disorientated are slapped straight away with a “AI” badge of shame. Certainly, the rise of AI slops is real, but just because artists look a little odd, there shouldn't be any need to protect their work from AI accusations. In the case of Dead Dance, the point is that it looks a little weird.
