For the Rugged Computer RPC RS A4NX, Syslogic has combined the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX with a dedicated carrier board.
NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB features 100 TOPS of AI computing power and 16GB RAM. That’s 3x the performance of NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier™. SoMs are smaller than credit cards and impress with their low power consumption of 10-25 Watts. This unique combination of form factor, performance, and energy efficiency opens the door to a new generation of autonomous edge devices.
Syslogic introduces three rugged computers based on Jetson Orin NX modules for use in harsh environmental conditions. The first is the very compact Rugged Computer RPC RS A4NX. In Q2 2023 Syslogic will release the larger Rugged Computer RPC RML A4NX. It is available in his two versions, one with PoE and one with GMSL interface. This allows you to connect a wide range of sensors such as lidar, radar, and cameras to your embedded systems to implement advanced computer vision applications. AI computers are therefore suitable both for self-driving cars and for intelligent video surveillance in trains and stations.
Robust to withstand tough field operations
Syslogic devices in particular impress with their robustness and reliability. The Rugged Computer RPC RS A4NX is IP67 certified. Syslogic has paired the NVIDIA module with a specially designed carrier board that meets the same high shock and vibration requirements as the rest of the device. To protect the electronics from humidity, humidity and dust, the embedded computer has a robust housing with screw-on M12 connectors. Additionally, the Gore vents even out the pressure inside the device. This makes the rugged computer one of the world’s most rugged devices available today based on NVIDIA Jetson.
