Creating high-quality video content used to require a huge investment of time, but Google Vids is changing that forever. By using AI to help storyboard, assemble, and voice your projects, anyone in the Workspace ecosystem or with a Google Account can take on the role of a video producer.
And now Google is making publishing these videos as easy as creating them. With the new workspace update, you can now: Export your Google Vids projects directly to YouTube without leaving the app.
Bypass download folder
Previously, to complete your video, you had to export it as a thick MP4 file, go to YouTube Studio, and upload it manually. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it was a tedious extra step.

In this update,[ファイル]You can now push your finished videos directly to YouTube using a new option in the menu. Whether you’re creating quick marketing promotions, internal training materials, or educational content, this direct pipeline significantly reduces manual effort and speeds your work online.

Set to private by default
One immediate concern with the one-click publishing feature is accidentally pushing drafts or sensitive internal videos to the public web. Thankfully, Google has thought of that.
To maintain security and enable creative control, All videos exported from Google Vids to YouTube are initially set to private. This acts as a nice safety net, allowing you to go to YouTube Studio, review your content, add final tags and descriptions, and consciously switch to public or private when you’re really ready.
Who is getting it?
This is more than just a corporate perk. Direct export to YouTube is available for: All Google Workspace customersas well as users with personal Google Accounts.
This feature has already been rolled out. Immediate release domains will start seeing it on March 31st, and scheduled release domains will begin rolling out on April 14th. If you haven’t tried Google Vids yet, this seamless YouTube integration is just another reason to give it a try.
