In partnership with Antropic Baton Rouge Business Report and Tenex will host a free half-day event AI Fluency Training and Practical Workshop on June 10 for business owners and operators who want to learn how to leverage artificial intelligence to solve real-world business problems.

The Claude SMB Workshop is specifically designed for leaders who run small and medium-sized businesses with complex operational realities. Participants will spend the afternoon learning practical AI skills, working through exercises on their laptops, and exchanging notes and answering similar questions with other Baton Rouge executives.

Small businesses employ nearly half of the U.S. workforce, yet much of the national AI conversation ignores them. Anthropic spoke with SMB leaders and found that the biggest challenge isn’t skepticism about AI, but rather that employees don’t know how and when to use AI effectively. The workshop is designed to fill that gap.

“Small businesses are where AI is really changing the way we work, and frankly, we’re learning as much from this room as the participants,” said Daniel Cohen of Anthropic, an AI safety and research company whose flagship product is Claude. “This is an education and research effort, not a sales pitch. The skills participants will learn will work with any AI tool, not just ours.”

The Baton Rouge event is part of the Claude SMB Tour, a national series of workshops conducted by Anthropic in partnership with local business communities across the country.

No prior experience with AI is required. Participants will fill a room full of local leaders solving problems together and leave with practical skills they can apply to their jobs the next morning.

Please register here. The deadline is June 3rd.
