With a portion of the MOU signed between both sides, the tech giant will support the state in curriculum and training preparation for the next two years.
In a post on X, Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu said, “Andhra Pradesh welcomes the bold initiative to lead the AI revolution in India.
“With NVIDIA's support for curriculum and training, 10,000 engineering students will receive skills training over the next two years, while AP's 500 AI startups will have access to the inception program for global exposure and key resources,” the CM added.
CM Naidu further added that plans are underway to work with Nvidia to establish India's first AI university to form infrastructure and research capabilities.
“From education and skills to research and innovation, this initiative lays the foundation for Swarna Andhra Pradesh,” he added. Andhra Pradesh is actively working to develop the state's AI ecosystem. The state government has announced the development of India's first quantum computing village. The 50-acre facility in Amaravati, previously announced by the state government, is envisioned as a pioneering ecosystem of quantum computing research and collaboration.
The facility is envisioned as a collaborative ecosystem where institutions and businesses can access and share advanced quantum computing resources.
It also includes a dedicated on-site data center to support your high-performance computing needs. IBM and TCS will jointly complete the infrastructure specifications along with an initial setup configured to host IBM Quantum System 2.
