Ranveer Singh has reacted after a deepfake video of himself went viral on the internet. Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, an AI-generated election video has been released. gully boy The actor has surfaced on social media where he is seen supporting political parties.
The video was actually from Ranveer's recent visit to Varanasi along with actor Kriti Sanon for famous designer Manish Malhotra's fashion show. In the original video, Ranveer had shared his divine experience of visiting the city and its temples.
On April 19, Ranveer wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Deepfake se bacho doston” (Beware of deepfakes, friends).

Earlier, a deepfake video promoting actor Aamir Khan's political party went viral. Terming the video as “fake”, the actor also filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Inspectorate of Mumbai Police.
