Voxelo has launched a virtual studio that generates 3D models, augmented reality (AR) assets, and product images from a single product video for retailers and brands.
The Manchester-based company claims that e-commerce teams can now capture, create and publish 3D, AR and AI-generated content in about two hours. Voxelo noted that the system leverages standard capture tools rather than requiring specialized hardware, making high-end digital assets more accessible to mainstream retailers.
Voxelo described its approach as a way to reduce the time and costs associated with 3D and AR production for online retail. The company says it can create content up to 30 times faster and 10 times cheaper than traditional production methods.

single video input
Voxelo’s unique workflow begins with a simple video recording of your product, which the system transforms into a photorealistic 3D digital twin. The company says these assets are designed with versatility in mind, allowing teams to reuse a single digital model across a variety of marketing and retail formats.
The resulting output provides consumers with an interactive 3D view that showcases products from all angles, along with augmented reality “space-within-a-space” assets tailored for an immersive shopping experience. Additionally, Voxelo noted that its studio capabilities will extend to the production of high-quality e-commerce images and AI-generated lifestyle scenes to streamline the content creation process for brands.
Voxelo built its product around a technique called User Generated 3D (UG3D). The company announced that it will release UG3D in 2025. According to Voxelo, UG3D uses 3D, computer vision, and AI technology to transform short product videos into 3D digital twins.
Target users
Voxelo has positioned the studio for non-technical ecommerce and content teams. The company said it has designed interfaces and workflows to ensure consistent and repeatable production.
“It all starts with a single capture,” said Vladimir Mulhem, CEO and co-founder of Voxelo.ai. “Our belief is simple: Better product content builds buyer trust, and buyer trust drives conversions.”
Voxelo said it built the product based on feedback from end users. We also drew a distinction between that approach and the common use of AI for product content.
“We’ve built Voxelo in tandem with end users, but what’s clear is that creating product content remains extremely difficult and costly, and creativity is too limited. When today’s ecommerce and content teams rely on AI tools, they have limited confidence in their accuracy and can be limited to 2D. Our approach is different,” said Ben, COO and co-founder of Voxelo.ai. McKay said.
Production workflow
Voxelo said digital twins serve as the foundation for various forms of content creation. This will reduce fragmented production pipelines and dependence on external expert teams, the company said.
“Voxelo makes it easy to capture digital twins, eliminating friction when creating diverse product content,” said McKay. “With Voxelo, which provides deep product understanding from a simple video, it’s easier than ever to create new product experiences powered by photorealistic 3D, AR, and AI.”
Voxelo’s CTO said the company is focused on reducing complexity for teams that don’t use 3D tools.
“Advanced 3D and content creation doesn’t have to be scary,” said Roman Bromidge, co-founder and CTO of Voxelo.ai. “We’ve focused on making the experience simple, consistent, and authentic, so our team can focus on merchandising and storytelling rather than the complexities of production.”
customers and support
Voxelo said early customers include Cosatto and British Attire. The company did not disclose the contract size or usage amount.
Voxelo said Innovate UK is supporting research and development activities. He also noted support from Turing Innovation Catalyst, Exchange Accelerator and Venture Forward. Voxelo said it also received support from the GMCA.
Voxelo described itself as a 3D and AI content platform for e-commerce. The company said it is investing in research and development related to 3D and AI content generation for product visuals.
commercial terms
Voxelo has announced the release of version 2.0 of the studio, which offers 10,000 free credits to new users. The company equates this introductory offer to the creation of 10 3D digital twins, including augmented reality capabilities. For those who want to go beyond the free tier, subscription plans will start from £50 per month, and the company is currently welcoming people to sign up to the beta version of AI Content Studio.
The company expects adoption to soar as e-commerce teams increasingly seek more efficient ways to produce 3D models, AR assets, and high-quality images from a single source capture. By streamlining these traditionally complex processes, Voxelo aims to provide a faster alternative for digital retailers looking to enhance their visual catalogs.
