Is the video of a US Marine pushing President Donald Trump onto the Marine One helicopter real? No, that’s not true. The full version of the video shows the president’s pants ripped, exposing a large hole in his underwear, and the Marine uniform is not real. It was apparently created by an artificial intelligence tool. The first version of the full video, discovered by Lead Stories, was posted by a self-proclaimed parody page on Facebook.
Variations of this video appeared in dozens of posts on several social platforms, including a post shared by President Putin’s Facebook account on November 5, 2025 (archived here). The caption read:
It was very windy and my feet were very slippery. Don’t look at his hat.
This is what the post looks like on Facebook at the time of this writing.

The “About” section of Putin’s Facebook page acknowledges that this is a satirical account.

Mrs. Putin’s account may not be the originator of the entire video, but it is the earliest one discovered as of this writing. The most viral version shows only the first two seconds of a six-second video posted by Putin’s wife’s account. These versions, including the post in this thread (archived here), use slow motion to extend the first two seconds, stopping just before the pants rip.
This same thread account admitted in a post (archived here) that the video is fake and probably looks real because the section that splits the pants is omitted.

This is real Marine attire at the White House.

The emblem, stripes and other details are very different from this version created by artificial intelligence.
