For example, Smart Conform can automatically adjust clips to fit different aspect ratios, making it ideal for content professionals who want to create material for different platforms. The Magnetic Timeline and Advanced Multicam Editing are further enhanced with AI, making complex editing tasks more manageable, while AI-powered object removal, shot stability analysis and audio cleanup speed up some of the more mundane tasks of preparing your project for final export.

When we reviewed Videoleap, we used the software to create a series of Instagram Reels. Using AI, you can simply upload your clips, describe your desired style, and have your video generated instantly. When it comes to social content, it not only offers advanced automatic editing capabilities, but also has a powerful standard video editor. This means that, unlike other comparable AI platforms, you have advanced editing options available after your content has been generated, including changing the pace, style, and music.
It offers tools like AI filters and AI background removal, and I liked the simple AI features like auto-subtitling, which automatically creates subtitles from narration.

05. Invideo AI Video Editor
The best AI video editing software for people with absolutely no video editing skills
specification
platform: Browser-based
Key AI features: Mix AI-generated scripts with stock video footage
price: Subscription / Limited Free Plan
Reasons to buy
Anyone can create a video
+AI Narration
Reasons to avoid
Results tend to be general
–Free Plan Watermark
Invideo AI is a totally different proposition, as it's not a video editing software in the traditional sense. Rather, it searches for stock video footage. Using simple conversational text prompts, you ask it to generate a video on any topic you want, and it generates a script, adds AI-generated audio, and overlays it on stock video footage related to the topic.
It's worth emphasizing that this is not an AI video generator like Sora or Runway; it simply uses AI to identify existing stock video footage. The advantage of this is that it avoids weird AI artifacts, but naturally the results are very hit-and-miss. Because it relies on rights-free stock footage from the web, a lot of it is quite generic, and sometimes the selected video doesn't match your script very well.
Editing tools allow you to find alternative footage, edit the script, and make other adjustments. You can also upload your own recordings to replicate your own voice. Invideo also has more traditional video editing tools and templates you can use. The free plan allows you to generate up to 10 minutes of watermarked AI video footage per week.
