The Computer Engineering Department of Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI) will be conducting a three-week Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in a hybrid format.

Registration for the 50-hour program opened on Wednesday, June 19. The course begins July 1 and ends July 19.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to join the program must meet certain eligibility criteria such as holding a diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral degree with a mathematics background. Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website.

“A total of 130 seats will be available for the course, of which 80 will be admitted for offline classes on a first come first served basis and 50 will be admitted online,” the JMI notification said.

Detailed route

The course will include 20 hours of theory classes and 30 hours of practical sessions.Experts from various prestigious universities across the world like JMI, other central/foreign universities, Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Technology, IIITs and industry experts will be the lecturers for this course.

It is based on a module that consists of five elements:

• Introduction to AI and Python Basics
• Applied Data Science with Python
• Machine Learning Algorithms
• Deep Learning for Computer Vision with Keras and Tensorflow
• Deep Learning for NLP with Keras and Tensorflow

Fee

The registration fee for JMI students is ₹4,500, for non-JMI students ₹6,500. In addition to this, students ₹Sign up for our virtual course and receive a $500 discount. Industry participants can ₹10,000 and the amount paid by foreign and non-Indian students to participate in the program is 150 USD.
