In a recent podcast, Ford’s CEO explained why it’s not easy for automakers to imitate Tesla. Ford CEO Jim Farley outlines that his suppliers all use different kinds of software. Therefore, it is virtually impossible for him to create a general-purpose operating system for Ford vehicles.
