(December 10, 2025, 05:56 GMT | Official Statement) — MLex Overview: South Korea's Ministry of Science, Information and Communications announced on Wednesday that it has released “AI Security Guidance” for artificial intelligence model developers, service providers, and users. This guidance is based on a comprehensive analysis of national and international case studies related to AI security policy, as well as feedback from government agencies and industry. The ministry said the guidance was created because existing guidance materials primarily focus on the trustworthiness and ethical use of AI-generated outputs and inference processes and do not provide detailed security standards to prevent and respond to external cyber threats. A statement in Korean is attached.
