On Monday, a blogger was sentenced to $75,000 for an AI deepfake of famous rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

A federal jury in Miami found blogger Milagro Cooper liable for promoting an AI-generated deepfake porn video that rapper Megan Thee Stallion claimed cost her a $1 million brand contract and ordered her to pay $75,000 in damages.

The ruling came after two days of deliberations in a lawsuit accusing Cooper, also known as Milagro Grams, of defamation, invasion of privacy and emotional distress. Megan claimed that the viral spread of the fake video damaged her reputation and caused her to lose key support.
