Meta publishes Muse Images and previews Muse Videos.
Meta introduced the Muse Image generation model and provided an early preview of Muse Video on the Meta AI blog.
The AI solution for media content creation was developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs. Muse Image is now available on the meta AI app, meta.ai, Instagram Stories for US users, and WhatsApp in some countries.
Meta describes Muse Image as the most advanced image generation model. According to the company, the model can follow prompts precisely to edit images, assemble scenes from multiple references, and leverage Instagram’s social context.
Meta Superintelligence Labs said Muse Image operates as an agent model. Muse Image uses tools to search the internet, write and run code, and allows you to improve images while they are being generated.

Muse Image is now integrated with Muse Spark. According to Meta, this combination of models uses code and media generation to create animated GIFs, image-embedded websites, and interactive visual games.
At the same time, Meta introduced an early preview of Muse Video. The company claims that its models are built on the same pre-training foundation, offer high visual quality, and natively support audio. Meta added that they are still refining the audio and video synchronization and accurate depiction of high-speed motion.
Meta also announced that images created with the Meta AI app Muse Image will now be watermarked with an invisible content seal. The company says the watermark will remain even after cropping, compressing, resizing, and screenshots. Meta plans to extend this watermark to videos in the future.
Meta also provided metrics for Arena. According to the company, Muse Image ranks second behind GPT Image 2 in the text-to-image conversion, single-image editing, and multi-image editing categories.

Earlier in late June, Meta introduced an AI system that can reconstruct typed text from recordings of brain activity without surgical intervention. The company claims an average word-level accuracy of 61%.
