Mask tools turn text and photos into creative images and videos

AI Video & Visuals

Elon Musk's Ai Venture, Grok has expanded its free access Imagine Features for Android users make it easy to create AI-generated images and videos so far, at least for now, without using DIME. Musk confirmed in X's post, as there are only a limited number of features that are already free for iOS users.

Imagine The tool allows users to convert simple text prompts (types or spoken language) with high quality photos and short videos. For those who prefer visuals as a starting point, this feature also supports uploading still images that can be enhanced or animated using AI. This versatility is already popular, claiming that masks are generated through platforms and are rapidly increasing in numbers.

By offering this feature at no cost, Grok competes directly with Openai's ChatGpt and Google's Gemini AI creation tools. While these platforms already offer image and video generation capabilities, Musk's Imagine aims to stand out with seamless interactivity and creative flexibility.

How to get started with Grok Imagine

use Imagine Easy:

  1. Download the Grok app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
  2. Open the app and select “Imagination” from the top menu.
  3. Enter or speak a prompt for AI to generate an image.
  4. Alternatively, upload a photo and Grok's AI will enhance or customize it.

From stills to movement in seconds

One of Imagine's outstanding features is its ability to convert still images into short videos with just a few taps. After generating or uploading an image, users can select the “Create Video” option and choose from four animation styles: usually fun, custom, and bolder spicy mode. This quick motion generation appeals to content creators who want to create shareable animations without spending hours editing.

Grok vs ChatGpt and Google Gemini

The expansion follows the July launch of the Grok 4, which Musk's Xai described as “the world's most powerful AI model,” before Openai's GPT-5 enters the scene. GPT-5 is touted for reduced hallucination. This is an accurate challenge that both companies are actively tackling.

Musk doesn't stop there. He had already teased the arrival of the Grok 5 by the end of 2025. Free deployments of imagination could help Grok attract a large user base before its milestone, especially as more people test its creative tools.

With the increasingly competitiveness of creating AI-powered content, Grok's easy-to-use interface and Image-Video production has put it in a powerful position. For now, Android and iOS users can use the free window to explore how well they can grasp a few words or a single image in Grok's AI's hands.
