Foo Fighters officially unveiled a new drummer with their unconventional debut. The band, featuring in the fun, stupid AI videos, suggested they were “something special preparation” for their fans while having fun with AI slops that infiltrated the creative industry.
Certainly there are ways to properly use AI, but I'm always a fan of laughing at Janky AI Creations. This technology may have been fine-tuned in recent years, but there is a strange comfort in the early days of extra appendages and pure, unrefined nightmare fuels.
Please take a look
Through playful videos, the band focuses on their commitment to “real raw elements” of music created by “living, breathing humans.” Until the six-fingered Dave Grohl holds a “set list” made up of Gibberish, we quickly realize that things aren't as visible.
The absurdity continues as the put smear is subtly drawn with extra legs, with guitarist Chris Shiflett taking on stage by what appears to be a horrifying, flesh-like Gooseman hybrid. Pièce deresistance comes when Grohl announces, “Wait until you meet a new drummer.”
When the world of music and AI clash, I get a little nervous all the time, but the strange video from Foo Fighters won over me. After seeing Rod Stewart's homage to Ozzy Osbourne and Will Smith's Clingy AI crowd controversy, it's refreshing to see the band enjoy themselves with the growing trend.
