E-commerce platform Lazada Philippines has recently been a number of top sellers and has flew for an executive education program to the Alibaba campus in Hangzhou, China.
The programme is a collaboration with the Alibaba Global Initiative and the Electronic World Trade Platform, where participants from the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam engaged in immersive learning sessions on digital marketing, artificial intelligence practices, and cross-border brand building.
Site visits to innovation hubs such as the Alibaba Museum, Deeprovotics, Shenhao Technology and the Future Park Exhibition were directly exposed to the technologies that form global e-commerce.
AI tools will encourage fair competition for small and medium-sized businesses, Lazada pointed out, saying that long-consuming or expensive tasks, such as creating product captions and enhancing images, can be done faster and more efficiently using AI tools.
“What I saw in China was the future five years. We're not too late in what Lazada has to offer, especially in AI and data. It's an exciting time to be part of this transformation,” said Tin Montinola, a bench in the Philippines.
“Lazada makes it easy to start a business, but that doesn't stop there. AI tools, business insights, they help you continue to grow. Every step of the road, it's like incorporating coaches into your platform.”
“AI helps customers know better what they need, what they need and how to deliver. It's not just about selling. It's about smarter sales,” Gabby Recto prepares for a great business.
“For many Lazmall brands, artificial intelligence changes the way inventory is managed, predicts demand, and connects with customers,” says Lazada.
Lazmall offers a hand-picked selection of distributors of leading international and local brands, top rated online brands and certified brands.
“AI investments are designed to empower every seller, whether from an established brand or a first-time entrepreneur. By integrating AI into the core of the platform, it helps to make informed decisions, increase efficiency and ultimately enrich the experience of both sellers and customers.”
“The future of e-commerce is more than technology. It's about people. By integrating intelligent tools, learning resources and real-world experiences, we're building an ecosystem where all Philippine sellers can succeed.”
