Gracia AI raised $1.2 million for a tool that creates photorealistic volumetric videos for spatial computing.

This AI-powered technology is designed for professional creators and media companies, and the videos created with this tool can be viewed at six different viewing degrees of freedom.

The funding comes from The Venture Reality Fund, Triptyq Capital (led by the founders of Vrvana, which was acquired by Apple), LVL1 Group and Future Fund. Proceeds will be used to strengthen the company's team and support the launch of its platform, which combines the viewing capabilities of platforms like YouTube with the interactivity and creativity of spatial computing.

Currently powering all major virtual reality headsets, Gracia AI will soon be available on both desktop, mobile devices and Apple Vision Pro. With over 51 million headsets already shipped worldwide, the spatial computing content market is predicted to exceed 70 million monthly active users by 2026, driving industry growth to over $7.5 billion.

The company was founded by Andrey Volodin and Georgii Vysotskii, who previously left the company together successfully, and the team includes 15 top developers and designers, as well as marketing advisors from Spotify.
