Haryana Minister Vipul Goel bashing Congress over AI video targeting PM Modi

AI Video & Visuals

Faridabad, September 13 (IANS) Haryana Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel has strongly condemned the Congress party who allegedly created an AI-generated video targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking at a press conference in Faridabad, Goel said such actions misdirected the political direction of India and were extremely unfortunate.

He argued that “mothers are mothers to everyone – even politics must respect such boundaries.” Calling the video as shameful, Goel warned that this type of political action would erode public trust and make democratic discourse poetic.

The Minister also announced that under the appeal of Prime Minister Modi, “Seva Pakwada” (2 weeks of service) has been observed throughout Haryana to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Diendayal Upadhyaya and Mahatma Gandhi. During the last two weeks, various welfare programs will be implemented to promote the spirit of public service, he said.

Vipul Goel did not refrain from criticizing opposition leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and MP Deepender Hooda. He argued that the current government has launched a transparent compensation portal for citizens affected by the disaster, but the previous administration has provided slight relief.

He ensured that the new portal ensured a fair and unbiased rating and eliminated the possibility of favors and nepotism.

Emphasizing the Haryana government's commitment to comprehensive development, Goel said the government is working to ensure that the benefits of the government's scheme reach the most marginalized section of society.

In a critical move, he announced a new policy of compensation for dog bite victims. Financial aid ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 5, depending on the severity of the incident.

Goel also spoke about government initiatives in waste management and energy production. He revealed that the state will soon establish waste-to-energy plants in three locations in Haryana. These plants help to tackle waste effectively, while simultaneously generating additional electricity for the state.

“The Haryana government is not only committed to cleanliness and sustainability, but also focuses on converting waste into energy sources,” he added.
