Jammu, November 29: A three-day practical training workshop on effective use of AI tools, organized by Government College for Women (GCW), Parade Ground, in collaboration with AI for Digital Readiness and Advancement (AIDRA), an initiative of DataLEADS, concluded today.
This workshop was held exclusively for students in the Design Your Degree program and was designed to provide hands-on experience with emerging technologies and their applications in academic and professional contexts.
The session was led by resource person Dr. Rabia Gupta, who guided participants through interactive exercises and demonstrated the practical use of AI tools. The workshop was coordinated by Akash Kumar, a faculty member at GCW Parade Ground, who ensured smooth execution and active participation of students throughout the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Alpana Vohra, Dean of the Design Your Degree programme, said, “This workshop was a transformative experience for the students. Working directly with AI tools not only improved their digital literacy but also gave them the confidence to apply these technologies in innovative ways. Collaborations like this are essential in preparing students for their future jobs and research.”
The three-day program concluded with enthusiastic student participation and positive feedback, highlighting the importance of integrating technology-driven learning into higher education.
