Emass, a subsidiary of Nanoveu, has revealed ECS-Dot, its Edge AI System-on-chip (SOC). ECS-Dot offers 4 megabytes of onboard SRAM, enabling efficient AI calculations on Edge and IoT devices.

According to EMASS, when juxtaposed with competition, ECS-DOT works up to 93% faster while using 90% less energy.

The ideal application includes medical wearables and sensor modules that work together with the sensors they support.

“We're looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Mark Golanson, CEO of EMASS. “OEMs tell us that power efficiency is a critical factor in Edge AI, and while ECS-Dot offers that promise, it enables zero-lag intelligence at all times on the device.”
