Learn how to use AI with free LinkedIn courses

Applications of AI

According to a LinkedIn and Microsoft survey of 31,000 people across 31 countries, the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace will nearly double between September 2023 and May 2024, at which point 75% of knowledge workers worldwide will say they are leveraging AI. But it's not without doubts: 53% of people who are incorporating AI into their work worry that using AI in critical roles will make them perceived as replaceable.

At the same time, if you've ever experienced wildly inaccurate Google AI search results, you know that while AI may be the future, it still has a long way to go. In the meantime, take advantage of the courses available on AI fundamentals, especially the free ones. If you're not sure where to start, LinkedIn Learning is currently offering over 50 free AI skill-building courses through July 8th.

How to Take Free AI Courses on LinkedIn Learning

The LinkedIn Learning site can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what exactly you're looking for or where to find it. Plus, there are a lot of AI-related courses that aren't unlocked and require a subscription.

Essentially, from now until July 8th, these five learning pathways, featuring over 50 AI skill-building courses, will be unlocked and accessible for free.

1. Building AI literacy

2. Applying AI to everyday tasks

Courses are offered in three areas:

3. Expand your skills with OpenAI APIs

Four. Developing your skills in deep learning and neural networks

Five. Developing your AI skills as a cybersecurity professional

There are 55 free courses in total, none of which require you to sign up for a free trial of a LinkedIn Learning subscription. If you don't want to subscribe, just ignore the blue box on the right side of the page that says “Start your 1-month free trial” and scroll down and click directly on the course you want to take. It will start immediately without you having to sign up for a trial.
