Washington DC: US President Donald Trump shared an AI-generated video on Monday showing former President Barack Obama being arrested.
AI videos shared on Trump's Truth Social Platform show that the former president has been arrested by FBI agents in the White House's oval office.
The clip asks Obama to say, “The President in particular is beyond the law,” followed by a montage of various US leaders claiming that “no one has surpassed the law.”
The video shows two FBI agents handcuffing Obama in an oval office, but Trump smiles and watches from the bystander.
The video ends with a shot of Obama wearing an orange jumpsuit and wearing a paced, dressed up in prison.
On Friday, National Intelligence Director Tarshi Gabbard, a Democrat from Former, called on the Obama administration to be “indicted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Her press release, Gabbard, has declassified documents that it reportedly “revealed overwhelming evidence” to Obama and national security officials that they “produced and politicized the intelligence reporting agency to lay the foundation for a long-standing coup against President Trump.”
The Obama administration's “to take President Trump and overturn the will of the American people,” Gabbard wrote on X.
Meanwhile, posted on X, the White House said, “In six months, President Trump took command. He announced a full attack to break the chaos on the left and shout out American power. The borders are strengthened. The economy is unleashed. One big beautiful bill is the law.
On Thursday night, the White House social team was posting a poster replacing actor David Corensweat with Trump in the new film Superman. “President Trump,” followed by the slogan, which read “Truth. Justice. American way.” The accompanying captions were called “Superman playing cards” and “Symbols of hope.” (ani)
