Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. today announced the Check Point AI Defense Plane. It is a unified AI security control plane designed to help enterprises manage how they connect, deploy, and operate AI across their business. As AI systems move from assistants to autonomous actors that access data, invoke tools, and take actions, AI Defense Plane provides the intelligence layer needed to secure the agent era.

“Enterprises are entering the agent era. AI is no longer limited to content generation. AI is accessing systems, using tools, chaining actions, and beginning to operate with increased autonomy. AI Defense Plane provides that control across employees, applications, and AI agents.”

As enterprises move AI systems into production, the attack surface expands beyond prompts and models to include agent workflows, delegated actions, non-human access, and shadow agents operating within the actual business environment.

Built on Check Point’s AI Security platform and powered by ThreatCloud AI and the company’s recent acquisitions of Lakera and Cyata technology, the AI ​​Defense Plane combines detection, governance, observability, runtime control, and continuous validation across the AI ​​execution lifecycle.

At the core of the AI ​​Defense Plane is Check Point’s AI-native security engine. It is a real-time decision-making engine informed by analysis of millions of AI interactions, adversarial tests, and live threat intelligence to create a security loop that strengthens as your AI system evolves. The platform provides adaptive protection for over 100 languages ​​in less than 50 milliseconds, enabling defenses to be executed at machine speed as attacks become increasingly automated.

While most approaches focus on model guardrails, Check Point ensures how the AI ​​will actually behave in production. AI Defense Plane is designed to enforce controls where enterprise AI risks are real: at runtime, in live environments, and across the workflows that connect AI to business operations.

AI Defense Plane includes three main modules:

  • Workforce AI Security: Provides visibility, governance, and runtime protection for how employees use AI-powered applications. This module enforces policies in real-time, reduces the risk of sensitive data leaks, and enables secure productivity across sanctioned and non-sanctioned AI tools.
  • AI application and agent security: Provides discovery, state, and runtime control of AI application and agent systems embedded throughout your business. Organizations can identify where AI resides, understand what data and tools it has access to, assess how AI behaves, and manage the permissions and trust relationships that shape how agents run.
  • AI Red Teaming: Enables continuous adversarial testing of prompts, inference paths, workflows, tool usage, and agent behavior. It helps organizations discover exploitable weaknesses early and improve resilience as AI systems move from prototype to production.
