2nd Digiloong Cup Global AI Innovation Competition

With AI technology rapidly becoming mainstream, the 2nd Digiloong Cup Global AI Innovation Competition (Digiloong GAIC) organized by Century Huatong (parent company of Century Games) was officially launched on April 2nd, and the official website (https://aicht.sjhuatong.com/) was also launched at the same time. This year’s contest is guided by prestigious institutions such as CADPA Game Publishing Committee, Pudong New Area Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, Shanghai Culture and Creative Industry Promotion Association, Shanghai Online Game Association, and Macao Qinjin Culture and Technology Industry Association. In cooperation with major platforms and media organizations such as ChinaJoy, CLS, TideNews, 36Kr, ModelScope, and GAMEKZHAN, we are building a full-chain empowerment system focused on AI innovation and industrial application, comprehensively accelerating the transformation of artificial intelligence into real productivity.

The first Digiloong GAIC was successfully held in 2025. With its cutting-edge event positioning and core industrial values, it achieved fruitful results. More than 150 high-quality and innovative teams from around the world enthusiastically participated, with a total of 120 valid entries. After a rigorous judging process, 11 teams achieved outstanding results and won accolades across six award categories. The competition not only discovered several emerging entrepreneurial teams deeply working on vertical scenarios, but also facilitated the exploration of commercialization of AI technologies. Among the winning teams, Haiyi Interactive Entertainment received strategic investment from Century Huatong for its high-quality projects, and Gamercury team received co-investment from Shanghai Angel Club. Both served as outstanding examples of competition powering industrial applications and laid a solid industrial foundation for upgrades and iterations of the second event.

This year’s contest has a full schedule. The submission period will run from April 2nd to May 31st, and the registration channel will be open to AI innovation teams and developers from around the world. The first selection of works will be held from June 1st to June 15th, and all participating works will be judged. The reselection and finalist period will run from June 16 to June 30, during which projects that pass the preselection will undergo further review to determine the list of shortlisted teams for offline review. Offline judging of shortlisted works will take place in mid-to-late July for the offline professional contest. The award ceremony will be held at ChinaJoy 2026 on July 31st to announce the winners of various awards and recognize outstanding AI innovation achievements and teams.

In terms of track design, in line with the current development highlights of the AI industry, this year’s competition expanded the track based on the deepening of the original core track and officially set up three main tracks: AI games, AI applications, and AI agents. These fully cover the core application areas of current artificial intelligence technologies.

Community empowerment has been a key highlight of this year’s Digiloong GAIC. The organizer will cooperate with multiple partners to plan customized offline activities in the three cities of Hangzhou, Macau and Shanghai, build a regional innovation enhancement network, activate the AI innovation vitality in various regions, promote the innovative development of the AI industry in regions such as Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta, and expand the global influence of the contest. The online live salon format from the first tournament will continue, and a planning roadshow with the theme of “AI+” and a planning roadshow of participating teams will be held.

Compared to the first edition, the second edition of Digiloong GAIC focuses more on post-competition incubation and long-term support of participating projects. In addition to cash rewards, we have created a diverse and distinctive reward system to provide participating teams with comprehensive support, from exposure and resources to capital and technology, ensuring that high-quality, innovative projects receive continued development support even after the competition ends. The main reward for this tournament is “register once and participate in two tournaments”. This competition is closely related to the 4th “Culture Creation Shanghai” innovation and entrepreneurship competition. Digiloong GAIC’s shortlisted teams can simultaneously participate in the selection of the “Intelligent Future +” track of the 4th “Cultural and Creative Shanghai” innovation and entrepreneurship competition, unlocking double exposure opportunities, multiple policy support, and rich industry resources for participating teams. The “Intelligent Future +” track focuses on the thorough integration of artificial intelligence and digital culture and creative industries, which is very consistent with Digiloong GAIC’s positioning. The collaboration of the two competitions provides participating teams with a broader exhibition platform and commercial implementation path.

In terms of industry docking and investment matching, the competition will provide talented participating teams with one-on-one meetings with senior executives, allowing the teams to receive professional guidance on industry development and suggestions on project optimization. At the same time, Century Huatong’s investment department will provide special investment connection services for high-quality projects and cooperate with well-known venture capital institutions to build an exclusive and efficient investment matching channel for participating teams and help secure project funding. In addition, all high-quality participating projects will be included in the competitive resource pool, obtain long-term industrial resource connection services, continuously enjoy the empowerment dividend of competition, and realize the long-term development of the project.

Since its establishment, Digiloong GAIC has been committed to building a platform for AI innovation and industrial applications and helping cutting-edge AI technologies achieve breakthroughs and commercialization. The launch of the second competition is an important step for Century Huatong to continue its position in the AI industry and promote comprehensive technology development. With Digiloong GAIC as a link, Century Huatong will continue to gather global AI innovation talent, integrate high-quality resources across borders, break down the barriers between technology and industry, research institutes and the public, and rely on the three core empowerment systems of capital, computing power, and resources to comprehensively support the rapid growth of participating teams.

Currently, China is at the forefront of global AI application innovation, and overseas markets also boast rich innovation opportunities in fragmented fields. The second Digiloong GAIC will continue to carry the competition as a core carrier, connect the world’s AI innovation resources, promote the acceleration of commercial implementation of cutting-edge achievements such as AI games, AI applications, and AI agents, and continue to inject momentum into the high-quality development of China’s digital economy and artificial intelligence industry.
