There’s clearly something wrong with the Arizona Cardinals’ 2026 NFL schedule announcement video. Otherwise, why are all the comments screaming, “If being the worst team in the NFL isn’t punishment enough, our social team is now posting AI slop, you motherfuckers.” “Get this AI pimp out of here, this is really embarrassing. Terrible team, awful owner, awful social team. There’s a reason we’re the laughingstock of the league, and your losers are just the tip of the iceberg. You should be ashamed. ”
Cardinals facing heat over social media 2026 NFL Schedule Release Video
The Arizona Cardinals’ social media team, along with all 31 other teams, released the official 2026 NFL schedule video on May 14th. The video looked like a Microsoft Teams meeting with all team mascots lining up for the 2026 game against Arizona. Some teams didn’t have mascots from their schedules [New York Giants, New York Jets, and Detroit Lions]. The Jets and Giants are two of four other teams, including the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Chargers, without mascots. For the Lions, they chose a photo of an actual lion instead of Rory the Lion, the official mascot of the Detroit Lions. Anyway, all the mascots seemed to be doing their own thing. It looked very vague and our eyes were constantly moving, trying to figure out a single movement. But it was in vain! The whole meeting seemed vague and confusing, like a real team meeting. To add even more weird flavor, there was a meeting chat mocking the team without a mascot. [Chargers in particular]. That seems low… When New Orleans mascot Gumbo, an anthropomorphic St. Bernard, started flexing his muscles to the tune of “Who Dat,” Arizona state mascot Big Red furiously silenced him. There is clearly a connection with September. 2025 matchup where Cardinals beat Saints to paralyze crowd chants [20-13]. Anyway, in this era, AI [artificial intelligence] Make everything easy. The Cardinals schedule announcement may have been generated/created by AI…because it showed subtle signs and cyber citizens picked up on them right away. “Even for an AI slop, this is terrible,” one user wrote.One user said: “This is awful. I made this for like 45 seconds and it’s just annoying and stupid. This is awful. I don’t know who gave the green light for this, but they need to be stripped of all decision-making authority. ” Another user might want a post instead of a video. “Honestly, I would have been better off just posting. I didn’t even watch the whole thing because it had no meaning to me and no entertainment.” Another said: “What??!! This hurt my brain!” A third user said: “No one should come to a Cardinals game because of something like this. I doubt any remaining fans will want to go to a Cardinals game considering how crap they are.”

They are losing faith in their team. And how do they express it? A subtle dig at owner Michael Bidwill. One post read, “Really? We’re using goddamn AI now? I don’t think any creative mind would want to waste their time with this d*gsh*t series. That’s why we’re using AI now. Fuck you, Bidwill.” “Social media teams are as bad as football teams,” declared one user. Another source said, “It’s going to be released on a cheap schedule with a cheap owner and a cheap franchise.” “It’s time to say goodbye to Bidwill. This sucks,” one user declared. One user sent a message saying, “Shame on you. Sell the team. All the fans want you to sell the team. Rightfully all the fans.”
