“Can I come in again?” Andy Richter asks. The AI tells him, “Sorry, I can’t do that,” and “Your base commander and mission specialist are currently sealed in an airlock. Within an hour, the exterior door will open, exposing them to the dangerous Martian atmosphere.”
Adam Rippon explains that the AI is infected with a virus and that we have to manually reboot the hub to bring it back to normal. To get a better idea of what’s going on and hear more from Richter and Rippon, watch the clip above.
Aptly titled “Evil AI,” the piece sees two celebrities trapped outdoors in the harsh Martian climate as a technology virus takes over an artificial intelligence system within the Hub. If the remaining 11 celebrities don’t act quickly, the hub’s AI could sabotage the entire mission. The crew must work together to reset his AI software, test his intelligence, and acquire yet another mission patch before it’s too late. Will they be able to complete their mission? Who is considered non-mission critical and eliminated?
