Amazon Business is introducing a new set of AI-powered tools designed to automate purchasing decisions, detect spending anomalies, and help organizations predict supply chain disruptions.

Amazon Business has introduced a set of new AI-powered tools aimed at simplifying purchasing and helping organizations reduce costs and identify potential supply chain disruptions. The update was announced at the company’s Reshape conference on November 12th.
The biggest addition is Amazon Business Assistant, an AI chatbot that is now available to U.S. customers at no additional charge. The tool provides real-time guidance on account settings, purchasing options, and potential efficiencies based on past purchasing patterns.
Amazon also plans to add Savings Insights to US Business Prime members in the coming weeks. The dashboard uses AI to present bulk discounts, alternative pricing options, and other cost-saving opportunities.
For enterprise users, the company introduced spending anomaly monitoring that flags unusual purchasing trends, such as irregular reorder cycles or sudden spikes in daily spending, allowing managers to detect potential overspending or procurement issues.
In addition to purchasing tools, Amazon Business, AWS, and Deloitte announced two AI-enabled industrial solutions scheduled for release in early 2026. One targets manufacturers and uses predictive analytics to predict parts shortages and streamline order management. The other is designed for utilities and provides AI-powered diagnostics and material needs prediction to support grid reliability and post-storm recovery.
The announcement comes as Amazon Business continues to expand its reach in procurement technology, with more than 8 million reported organizational users worldwide.
