Amadeus deploys AI technology to modernize hotel operations

Travel technology provider Amadeus has partnered with Microsoft to deliver the power of AI to simplify hoteliers' ability to find and understand business intelligence.

Amadeus will incorporate Gen AI into an innovative new chatbot in its Business Intelligence Suite debuting on Agency360+. The chatbot is powered by Azure OpenAI services and is built on a partnership between the two technology companies.

In addition to providing access to comprehensive travel agency and corporate booking data available on the platform, hoteliers can use Amadeus Advisor, a new chatbot, to input complex data requests and get quick answers in natural language.

Another benefit of applying Gen AI is that it can instantly gather granular level of insights to speed up complex data analysis and make more strategic business decisions, and its simplicity allows even non-technical staff or novices to access information by simply typing in a chatbot search and leveraging the results.
