The availability of Akta in OCI gives media organizations a new way to modernize their video infrastructure without piecing together separate tools, cloud environments, or workflow systems. Broadcasters can now ingest and route channels through Akta Media Gateway, ingest and distribute live streams, and manage live video workflows from ingest to routing to live channel management with OCI.
As major media companies build live playouts on the cloud, there is a growing need to deliver live channels directly from the cloud using low-latency transports such as SRT.
