Several companies in the AI hardware space are great buyers.
Investors are being told that spending on artificial intelligence (AI) will rise again in 2026, but some are getting a little weary of AI trading. However, with so much money being spent on AI computing power, we need to recognize that this is a generational investment opportunity and we need to stay exposed to this trend.
Although we are still waiting for confirmation of the return on investment, Some of the companies implementing generative AI technology are already reaping huge benefits from it.. These AI hardware providers include: Nvidia (NVDA +0.74%), broadcom (AVGO 1.01%), advanced micro device (AMD +1.52%)and taiwan semiconductor manufacturing (TSM +0.38%). These four are great stocks for 2026, and I think investors should focus on them.

AI hardware competition intensifies
Nvidia, Brodacom, and AMD are all competing with each other. Nvidia is a leader in this space, and its graphics processing units (GPUs) have been the go-to chips since AI spending began in 2023. GPUs are so popular that the company’s management said in its third quarter results that cloud GPUs were sold out. This is a feat that confirms the huge demand for the company’s products.
And that demand doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Nvidia believes global data center capital spending will increase from $3 trillion to $4 trillion by 2030. This is up from $600 billion in 2025 and represents a huge opportunity for the company and its competitors.

AMD offers similar products, but its associated ecosystem is considered a downgrade. As a result, the scale of the company’s data center business has become approximately one-tenth that of NVIDIA. However, the company believes it can take advantage of new opportunities.
Nvidia is selling out of cloud GPUs, so customers may turn to AMD to buy computing power. This could force AMD’s technology to become closer to Nvidia’s and potentially drive growth. The company’s management is counting on this, predicting that the data center division will achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 60% by 2030.
If AMD can deliver that level of growth, it’s an easy buy at today’s levels.
Broadcom is taking a completely different approach to AI. GPUs are great for a variety of computing applications, but some of their functionality is wasted when deployed for only one purpose. This opens up possibilities for application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs).
When workloads are configured in a standardized way, ASICs can provide better performance at a lower price than general-purpose computing units such as GPUs. Broadcom is directly partnering with various AI hyperscalers to design ASICs for AI models, which has led to huge growth.

Broadcom expects AI semiconductor revenue to double year-over-year in the first quarter. This is just the beginning, as these chips are likely to become even more popular than Nvidia’s GPUs in the coming years.
All three of these are great AI investments, but none of them are actually manufacturing chips.
Taiwan Semiconductor supports all three companies
Nvidia, AMD, and Broadcom are fabless designers. In other words, we design the chips, but we don’t manufacture them. Several companies in the supply chain, including Taiwan Semiconductor Corporation (TSMC), perform this task on their behalf.

TSMC operates the world’s largest chip foundry business and makes a lot of money from it. Without that capability, AI technology doesn’t look the same. Management believes the company’s AI chip business will have a mid-to-high 50% CAGR between 2024 and 2029, supporting strong demand. This level of growth is unprecedented in the chip industry, and bodes well for the stock.
I think Taiwan Semiconductor is a great candidate along with the other three companies. All four companies should improve their rankings throughout the year.
