Located at center3, a Saudi-headquartered provider of carrier-neutral data centers and submarine cable systems connecting Europe, Asia and Africa, the creation of this data center builds on Zoom’s extensive investments in Saudi Arabia. Last year, Zoom pledged to Saudi Arabia a strategic focus on AI-enabled innovation and the advanced infrastructure needed to scale it, especially as Saudi Arabia designated 2026 as the Year of AI. As the country commemorates the 10th anniversary of Vision 2030, this designation signals a renewed focus on applying advanced technologies in practical and high-impact ways. This announcement builds on years of steady progress in data and AI efforts in support of major national agencies and large-scale infrastructure programs, and underscores Zoom’s long-term commitment to supporting progress across government and industry.
Zoom’s existing regional data centers, established in 2023, already support customers with local data residency needs, and the new facility will enhance capabilities for government agencies, businesses, and critical national infrastructure organizations.
