Zoom Communications Co., Ltd. announced the appointment of Russell Dicker as the company’s chief product officer to lead product strategy for Zoom’s action system, which uses AI to transform conversations into finished products. Russell has more than 25 years of experience building and scaling global product platforms, including leading product and data science teams for Microsoft Teams, with a focus on applying AI to simplify workflows and improve the way work gets done.

As CPO, Russell will lead Zoom’s global product organization and set the company’s product vision, strategy and roadmap to drive innovation and deliver solutions that change the way people connect and collaborate. He will play a central role in driving Zoom’s AI strategy and oversee the integration of AI and machine learning across its product portfolio.

Prior to joining Zoom, Russell was Vice President of Product at Microsoft, where he led the Microsoft Teams product management and data science organization. Previously, he was Senior Director of Product at Google Maps and spent 15 years in product and engineering leadership roles at Amazon.
Russell is the named inventor on 27 issued patents. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
