YouTube criticizes pro-Iranian AI for banning Lego-style Trump video

AI Video & Visuals

Written by Alimat Aliyeva

Iran has condemned YouTube’s decision to ban the channel of a pro-Iranian animation group called Explosive Media, which produces AI-generated Lego-like videos. The suspension reportedly came after the group released a clip mocking US President Donald Trump and declaring that “Iran won” in a hypothetical conflict scenario. Azel News The report cited foreign media.

Explosive Media says their YouTube account was abruptly suspended for “violent content,” even though the video is a fully stylized Lego-style animation and contains no real-world imagery. The group also noted that other social media accounts remain active and unaffected.

“Seriously! Is our Lego-style animation actually considered violent?” the creators wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghai criticized the ban, saying it reflected an effort to “conceal the truth” about US and Israeli actions in the region. He argued that such decisions limit alternative narratives, even though major animation studios like Pixar and Disney operate freely in the United States.

An interesting perspective is that Lego-style AI animations have recently become a popular medium for political satire and commentary online. As a result, platforms like YouTube increasingly face difficult questions about where the line is between creative expression and harmful or misleading political content, especially when content touches on real-world conflicts or propaganda narratives.

Here we bring you the latest news. It doesn’t cost much, but it’s worth looking into.
