“This is one of his first interviews since he bought Twitter,” the BBC News anchor said in a video posted to Facebook on June 14. An image of social media platform owner Elon Musk appears behind her. The video then cuts to Musk wearing headphones and speaking into a microphone. The word “BitSoft360” will appear in the upper left corner.
“Recently, I launched an AI cryptocurrency trading platform called BitSoft360 AI,” Musk appears to say in the clip. “With this software, you can earn up to $5,000 every day with an investment of only $300. So I encourage everyone to participate. To learn more about this unique opportunity, visit this site. Please click the video.

The video clip isn’t from after Musk acquired Twitter in 2022, but rather when Musk appeared on the podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” in 2018.
Musk did not mention Bitsoft or cryptocurrencies during the interview.
We found no evidence that Musk was affiliated with anything called BitSoft or BitSoft360. If you click on the video, as Musk suggests in the clip, the link will lead you to a web page masquerading as the website of British tabloid The Sun. But the website exposes it. Called hongfahk, his URL includes references to his t-shirts for women and “King of the Gym.”
