The advent of AI is beginning to change the dynamics of our digital lives, introducing things we could only imagine a few years ago.

AI tools are now being used to create art, draft reports, write essays, write exam papers, and write letters.

Many companies have replaced human workers with AI tools to cut costs. Over the past few months, we have all witnessed the rise of AI to create works of real people in fictional situations and unexpected locations.

But the problem is that AI has been around for quite some time.

It can do more than most people think.

AI is now allowing robots to add eyelash extensions, which is touted as revolutionizing the beauty industry in the next few years.

A short clip shared by Tansu Yegen on Twitter shows a robot applying eyelash extensions to a woman’s eyes.

This tweet tells us that the machine used for the treatment is the AI-equipped eyelash extension robot “LUUM Precision Lush”.

The Washington Post reports that LUUM is a beauty studio in Oakland, California. It will be operational from 2021.

Unlike other beauty salons and studios, LUUM’s main eyelash technician is an AI-powered robot. The Washington Post report adds that the robot’s tweezers attachment separates the natural lashes, while another attachment picks up the extensions.

The next step is to dip it in glue and place it on your natural lashes.

The company that developed the AI-guided eyelash extension robot said the technology would make eyelash extensions more affordable.

As soon as clips of AI-powered robots were shared online, netizens began questioning their safety and efficiency.

But LUUM said its eyelash robot is safe, cheaper and faster than traditional human eyelash extensions, which typically take 90 minutes.
