The proof, as they say, is that if Siri actually did something intelligent for me, as much as I love presentations and all that, I would be very happy if Siri actually did something intelligent for me. So far that hasn’t happened so I’m waiting for Siri AI.

But hey, the rest of the AI is amazing, unless it’s from Apple, right? So this is a pivotal moment for Apple. We’re ready for an AI that knows everything about us to take over our Apple devices. AI can completely unlock the Apple ecosystem in ways never seen before, not just from an economic standpoint, but from an actual productivity standpoint.

When you use Apple, everything is yours, from your contacts to your photos to your text messages to the private areas of your phone. Apple knows everything and acts as an agent to take action. This is what AI actually needs to do to improve productivity. For example, if you book that restaurant in Ball Terre for me, see if it’s open on Tuesday, and actually make the reservation, Apple will be able to use the app on your phone.

So it unlocks AI agents in a way that other, uh, devices that we own can’t. So that’s what I’m saying. Apple could become the biggest winner in the AI space without actually developing its own AI system.

If it works, 100% of people will. Your old cell phone may seem useless. For example, there are a lot of AI actions I do at work that might work better on a PC. But if you think about your personal life, for example, you can make a cute video about your family vacation last summer and send it to your wife to convince her about this summer vacation. You might be able to create some really cool videos.

Now, Apple can still do these things, but not just with verbal instructions. In other words, your iPhone can go from being a passive information provider to being an active agent in your life.
