LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Meta and the Vegas Chamber will co-host a hands-on artificial intelligence training workshop for small business owners on Wednesday.
More from FOX5: Kalsi will be fined $120,000 per day if it doesn’t block users in Nevada by August 12th.
This workshop is designed to help small business owners learn practical, real-world skills that they can immediately apply. Participants will receive step-by-step guidance on using AI to simplify their daily tasks, create content and communications more efficiently, and connect with more customers.
“Small business owners typically have five or six jobs. AI should ease their burden, not replace it,” said Meta spokesperson Jim Cullinan.
According to numbers cited in the event announcement, 47% of small businesses in Nevada are already using AI tools, and 84% believe AI will benefit their business in the future.
U.S. Congressman Stephen Horsford also attended the workshop. He said bringing technology training to nearby areas away from companies’ headquarters can help close the digital skills gap and keep small businesses competitive.
The event is part of Meta’s Small Business Community Accelerator program, which partners with local chambers of commerce to provide accessible AI training to entrepreneurs.
