World-renowned researchers from University College London (UCL) and Royal College of Art (RCA) are joining forces to launch a new centre for creative AI.
Connecting major universities with global business, the centre explores the bold and innovative use of AI across entertainment, media, fashion, music and art.
Developed in collaboration with generation marketing company The BrandTech Group, the initiative is chaired by Channel 4 CEO Alex Mahon and supported by leading players such as Diageo, Unilever, Runway, Snap, AI law firm Cooley and Design Museum.
Its goal is to highlight the creative possibilities of AI while encouraging the development of commercially viable and exciting projects.
The Center connects companies with talented students and alumni and top university alumni, promoting fresh ideas, creative challenges and learning opportunities to understand the role of AI in creative industries.
Drawing on the expertise of RCA students working at the UCL Center at AI, UCL Arts and Sciences, and at the intersection of arts, science and technology.

UCL has recently won two Nobel Prizes for his work in AI, but remains an important global player for AI Research.
The Advisory Board's Business and Academic Leaders-led centre is administered by a board chaired by Mahon, but all profits are reinvested to support its mission.
