Generation AI

technical

Generative AI is a type of computer technology that allows you to independently create new content, such as text, images, and music. This is important because it allows us to quickly create realistic and useful materials, and could change the way we create art, write stories, and even develop new products. Think of it as a smart robot that can invent and produce in much the same way as humans.

Recently released app speeds up equipment repairs and increases uptime

stamford, connecticut–(BUSINESS WIRE)– United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE:URI) today announced that it has expanded its company-wide implementation of Manual Assist AI. Manual Assist AI is a web-based application that provides AI-powered diagnostics and on-demand access to manuals from thousands of equipment manufacturers for service teams. Developed in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of our continued commitment to innovation and AI integration, the solution currently supports more than 4,000 users per month and puts AI-powered insights directly in the hands of technicians to speed repairs, reduce downtime, and keep more equipment in the field.
