Generative AI companies Gnani.ai and Vitra.ai, wedding services startups Meragi and ElectricPe have secured early stage funding, the companies announced on Tuesday.
Gnani.ai, a voice-first generative AI company, secured Rs 300 crore (about $4 million) in a Series A round from Info Edge Ventures on Tuesday. Samsung Ventures has also invested in the company.
The funds raised in this funding round will be used to increase sales and expand operations across the region.
Gnani offers a no-code, voice-first platform with multiple product capabilities including omnichannel conversation automation, agent assist, voice biometrics, and omnichannel analytics.
IIFL Fintech Fund, backed by financial services conglomerate IIFL Group, on Tuesday made its first investment in AI generation startup Vitra.ai, where the fund picked up a 10 per cent stake for an undisclosed amount.
Vitra.ai specializes in advanced language translation solutions powered by Generative AI. The company has a patented technology model that aids in language translation and delivery.
The investment will help further develop the company's generative AI technology.
Wedding services startup Meragi has raised $9.1 million in a Series A funding round led by Accel with participation from existing investors Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA), Venture Highway and angel investor Anupam Mittal.
The capital injection will enable Meragi to expand into additional cities and open partner venues and experience centers, and follows the $4.4 million the startup raised in 2023.
Meragi operates in key markets in India including Bangalore, Hyderabad and NCR, and offers destination weddings in Goa and Jaipur.
ElectricPe's full-stack super app allows users to identify, access and pay for EV charging points regardless of charging type. In addition to the app, ElectricPe's multi-brand store allows prospective buyers to choose from a wide range of E-2-wheelers and also offers EV finance, service and subscription plans to users.
