TikTok adds new AI video model to Symphony Ad Suite

TikTok has added a new AI video model to its Symphony creative suite called Dreamina Seedance 2.0, according to TikTok. company announcement. This update focuses on automating the way you create video ads and moving you beyond scripts and ideas to full video production.

The company says the model can generate video content from prompts, combining visual creation and editing in one system. This means advertisers can go from written ideas to finished videos without leaving TikTok’s tools. It builds on TikTok’s previous Symphony tool, which focused on scripting and creative concept generation.

Dreamina Seedance 2.0 is available globally to all paid TikTok advertisers and can be accessed from within TikTok’s Symphony Creative Studio.

How Dreamina Seedance 2.0 works

TikTok says Dreamina Seedance 2.0 is designed as a single model that handles both asset creation and video assembly. Users enter prompts to explain concepts, and the system generates visuals and arranges them in video format.

This includes creating scenes, applying motion, and building clips into short-form videos. The output is built to match the style and pace commonly used on TikTok.

This shifts part of the creative process to prompt-based generation. Instead of sourcing visuals manually, users describe what they want and the system generates assets tailored to their input.

The company claims this can be used for product visuals, background scenes, or stylized creative elements. These outputs can feed directly into your video production workflow within TikTok.

Output and input specifications

The generated clip will run for up to 15 seconds at up to 2K resolution. Advertisers can provide 9 reference images, 3 reference videos totaling 15 seconds, and 3 reference audio files per project. This input is an extension of Symphony’s previous video workflow, which relied primarily on text and avatar inputs and produced a video with audio added in a separate step.

AI labels, invisible watermarks, and C2PA content credentials are applied to all outputs by default. Moderation is performed within TikTok Ads Manager on prompts, uploaded reference assets, and generated output.

TikTok continues to work on AI ad creation

The release follows TikTok’s previous Symphony update, which focused on scriptwriting and idea generation using AI. With Dreamina and Seedance, the company extends its workflow into visuals and editing.

However, this tool is part of a group of AI video creative tools that have been added within major advertising platforms over the past year. Google has introduced Reimagine, powered by Veo, within YouTube Shorts. What’s unique about Symphony, however, is that generators, including Dreamina Seedance 2.0, run within the same TikTok Ads Manager screen that advertisers use to outline targeting, set bids, and confirm delivery.
