“If you’re doing any kind of 3D rendering on the go, a dedicated NVIDIA RTX GPU is non-negotiable.” — Sarah Deessy

She presents a hands-on approach to how these tools, running on laptops with GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs, tackle the manual work that can make non-linear editing tedious. increase. With her AI in Davinci Resolve software, her rewriting, video text editing and other tools save D’Essy time on any project, she said, and time is money for creators.

The NVIDIA Studio Team Deets How They’re Using AI, How The Technology Can Simplify An Artist’s Process, And How The NVIDIA Studio Platform Has Enhanced Her Creativity And Video Editing Workflows I spoke to Mr. Shi.

Deessie takes a break to talk with the studio team.

Studio Team: Which AI features do you use the most?

Diessy: DaVinci Resolve has neural engine text-based editing, automatic subtitling, magic masks, and scene cut detection, all AI-powered features that I use every day. And DaVinci Resolve’s relighting capabilities are very good.

Additionally, ChatGPT and Notion AI sped up copywriting for websites and social media posts, allowing me to focus on video editing.

Studio Team: How do you use Adobe Premiere Pro?

Diessy: In beta, you can quickly transcribe an entire video, and Premiere Pro can even detect silence. Just click three dots in the text, press delete, and boom. AI conveniently edits that awkward pause. No need to go back and forth.

Additionally, Auto Reframe and Unsharp Mask are popular AI features in Premiere Pro that are worth considering.

Studio Team: What made you start using AI-powered tools and features on a regular basis?

Diessy: What I find most frustrating is when the program offers so much great functionality but I have to upload everything to a web app or start a whole new workflow. Having these features available directly in the apps I already use has made my work so much easier and I now use them on a daily basis.

Studio Team: Why is GPU acceleration important for creative apps for non-techies?

Diessy: For video editors, GPU acceleration (essentially a graphics card that speeds up features and effects in creative apps) is important, especially with DaVinci Resolve. all. Scrub the footage and playback, greatly reducing export time. This ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 OLED Studio laptop recently exported over an hour of 4K video of him in less than 14 minutes. If you’re like me and you release new content every week, the time saved is priceless.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU Accelerated Encoding (NVENC) makes video exports up to 5x faster.

Studio Team: Would you recommend GeForce RTX GPUs to other video editors?

Diessy: absolutely. A big liberation for me is getting a desktop computer with a good processor and his NVIDIA GPU. I was simply amazed that things went so smoothly.

Studio Team: If you could go back to the beginning of your creative journey, what advice would you give yourself?

Diessy: Don’t get too hung up on quantity. Instead, spend your time adding structure to your process. Because being “messy creative” just seems cool at first. Organizations are already delivering significant benefits in improved sleep and mental health.
